Body Positive T-Shirt Fundraiser

Did you know that over one million individual's in the United States are affected by an eating disorder each year. The research for this illness is highly underfunded. SImilarly, insurace converages are inadequate. There is also high societal pressure from the meda to be thin and perfect.

Eating disorders are very painful emotionally, but not only that, they present a host of physical symptoms.

A few complications from the different types of eating disorders include, but are not limited to: heart palpitations, cardiac arrests, constipation, loss of hair, osteoporosis, amennorhea, infertility, dental erotion, palpitaions, and even death.

So what can you do to help? Well, the good news is, we have a great fundraiser taking place right now through April 8, 2016. Yiou can purchase a 2016 Rae Across Americal T-shirt and/or donate money. All proceeds will go to Eating Disorder Recovery Support, Inc. (www.EDRS.net) and will be helping fund eating disorder prevention programs and body positive workshops.
